OCIA : Becoming Catholic

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA)

BECOMING CATHOLIC

Do you know of a friend, relative, neighbor, or coworker who might be interested in becoming Catholic or completing their Catholic initiation sacraments? Perhaps you are!

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the journey by which you’ll become acquainted with the Catholic faith, our parish community, and consider if God is calling you to become a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church.

OCIA is intended for:

  • Not-yet-baptized adults, teens and children 8 and older. Parents must first meet with Ann Brophy.
  • Baptized Christians interested in possibly becoming Catholic.
  • Baptized Catholic adults needing First Communion and/or the Sacrament of Confirmation.

OCIA is a wonderful journey of faith in a warm and welcoming community, and you’ll never experience any pressure or expectation. Come and see!

For those attending Mass in English, weekly OCIA sessions begin on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in the Faith Formation Center, 6:30 – 8PM

For more information or to sign up, please contact Ann Brophy. I’d love to meet with you before OCIA begins!
